Ancient Irish Mythology will tell you that The White Hag was a witch, a chameleon creature, and even Mother Nature herself. We know she was all that, and more. A spiritual force, from and of the earth. The spirit of Ireland who shaped land itself, present in everything through the pure water of the earth.

Little under three years ago The White Hag burst on to the bustling Irish craft beer scene with a bang and have, in that time, firmly established themselves as one of the best breweries in the Land. Based in the picturesque slice of earth Ballymote the beers from the White Hag are certainly not as understated as their quaint slice of the Emerald Isle.

White Hag Brewmaster, Joe Kearns, an Ohio native with deep Irish ancestry, spent his formative years as an apprentice with the illustrious Hoppin' Frog Brewery and this is plain to see. With Joe manning the kettles The White Hag have produced some of the most groundbraking beers to ever be brewed on Irish shores to date.
