Nevel Artisan Ales is a small sustainable brewery from Nijmegen (the Netherlands) with a passion for traditional style beers. We find inspiration for our recipes in every aspect of our daily lives: blackberries that grow along our cycling route, plums from a friend's garden, flowers near our brewery... but also artisanal chocolate and cheeses, surprising dishes at local restaurants and unconventional cookbooks.

We work solely with spontaneous and mixed fermentation cultures, which results in dry, refreshing, and complex beers. Most of our beers are aged in wooden barrels to create more intense flavours. Our ingredients are sourced locally and organically whenever possible.

Our beer is a living product with bottle refermentation and taste evolution: it never tastes the same way twice!
