When the team from Epic Brewing Company paid us a visit during Berlin Beer Week, we had to take advantage of all of us being in one brewery and so, we came up with an imperial dry-hopped Berliner Weisse and threw in some gooseberries – which both added sourness and a fruity character. And we called it Goosebumps - an homage to the gooseberry and the feeling your taste buds get when you try it for the first time.

And to celebrate this launch, we’ve teamed up with one of our favorite bars in Berlin the uber-hip Protokoll Berlin, for a unique approach to tasting sours beers by pairing them with some unexpected bedfellows:

Goosebumps + homemade gooseberry cheese cake
Berliner Weiße + apple crisp, apple puree, fresh apple
Strawberry Weiße + strawberries and cream
Fools Gold - black sesame ice cream

Pairings begin at 5pm, so plan on getting there earlier.
