On Monday June 25th we are bringing two ancients worlds together for one special evening.
Dosas! and Beer!
Dosas are a type of crepe, made of fermented rice and lentils, originating from the South of India, with the oldest records dating back to 1st century AD.
Beer.. well...we don't need to say much, we already know it's the nectar of the Gods! Some of the earliest evidence of barley beer dates to back to 3500-3100 BC, from site of Godin Tepe in the Zagros Mountains of modern day Iran.
On this unique evening, we will be making authentic dosas, which will be perfectly crispy on the outside and soft in the inside, just the way it should be and ones you can not find anywhere else, at a restaurant in Berlin.
Our Special Chefs from India and France will be combining their talents to create a Continental flair to the menu. In addtion they have also worked with our Host, Braumeister Timo, of the highly regarded Berlin Craft Brewery Straßenbräu. Together they have come up with unique beer pairing, which makes it a first of its kind event in Berlin!
Straßenbräu is a brewery and bar on a beautiful little street right at Ostkreuz station. They produce and serve 11 different beers on site. Come, sit in their beer garden and enjoy the perfect pairing of beer and dosa, all freshly prepared in front of your eyes.

Truffle Dosa* Gently spiced potato and pea mash, with sautéed red onionq and drizzle of Truffle oil
French Dosa** Pan fried spinach in garlic, with goats cheese, green apples and candied walnuts
Toffee Dosa* Caramel and Banana with cinnamon
*Vegan ** Vegetarian - Dosas are available till we run out!
