As chief-mixologist Kieran puts it, his Basalt bar is the Wedding interpretation of a botanical garden at night. His explorations with flavours and liquors delight the locals and beyond thanks to creative menus using home-made concoctions: Imagine the cocktails behind the Greenhouse Fizz, No Thyme for Nino or Rhubarb Rising…

Teaming up with the Dutch brewery Lowlander Beer (brewed with botanicals), this workshop aims at sprinkling a few mixology skills and knowledge of flavour-pairing, getting a taste for beer cocktails, and peppering some trivia on spices, botanicals and their historical use in alcohol (from gin to beer and more).

While spending a wonderful time in one of Wedding’s greenest and most lovely bars, you will be able to make the moment last by taking home your very own Basalt home-made Beertail and a few more goodies, although we are certain the memories will not disappear as quickly as the vaporous distilled & fermented fumes.
