Brewery no.2 and Beer no.2 in our Summer Sour Series, where we work with a local breweries to devise and brew a sour beer for our taps.
For this beer we are working with Straßenbräu re-brew the dry hopped kettle sour we loved so much last year. Ferments specialist Kathe Kaczmarzyk has provided us with another brine to sour the beer, this time a young and healthy kohlrabi kraut. Expect a juicy full-bodied beer with a gooseberry tang and some serious drinkability.
The beer: Dry Hopped Sour Ver. 2 (6%) with Hallertau Blanc hops and soured with kohlrabi kraut brine.
