Trappist breweries are institutions of living tradition. To remain authentic in an environment of constant change these breweries need principles to stick to. Trappist ale can only be called Trappist ale when it has been brewed between the four walls of a Trappist monastery, under the supervision of the monastery’s monks, and when part of the proceeds is earmarked for charity.

Beyond these core principles, there's room for innovation. Join us on this journey into the world of La Trappe, a monastery that originally started brewing in the 19th century, but was never reluctant to innovation. La Trappe's Quadrupel and it's barrel aged variants are a good example for this will to innovation.

On this special day we'll taste 7 very limited different variants of La Trappe Quadrupel together with Roy from La Trappe. We only have limited amounts of beer so make sure to get a ticket on Eventbrite. The tasting will mainly be hold in English.
