Last year, Cloudwater Brew Co visited Yakima, Washington to hand-select hops at source for the second time and, working with YCH, secured some of the best lots they've had the privilege of using.

They have developed a series of six DDH IPAs to share the fruits of hand selection with you. Cloudwater are launching these beers on draft and in can at Unit 9 and 73 Enid Street this Friday, July 12, followed by a UK draft launch on the 19th, and then a limited European launch on the 26th.

On Friday, July 26 you can try these special release DDH IPAs on tap and in cans at only one place in all of Germany - Muted Horn!

Take a journey through the range of six DDH IPAs brewed to showcase some of the hops they have selected:

• The iconic duo Amarillo and Centennial are paired together, expressing grapefruit, lemon, apricot and orange blossom aromas between the two hop varieties. These wonderful flavours make this dynamic duo commonly utilised in many pale ales and IPAs.

• Mosaic has played a prominent role in hop-forward beer styles since its release in 2012. Bred from Simcoe and Nugget, it can produce a hodgepodge of notes redolent of blueberries, tangerines, papayas and floral rose notes.

• Simcoe is a multifaceted hop much beloved by brewers and drinkers alike. Showcasing resinous, earthy aromas alongside berry, citrus and passion fruit characteristics, we are delighted to be featuring this exemplary hop.

• Released in 2016, Loral is an interesting, adaptable hop they’ve enjoyed using at Cloudwater. Utilising its aromas of lemon, pepper, dark fruits and floral aromas, they decided to let this distinctive hop shine on its own.

• One of the top hops used amongst craft brewers, it almost seems like Citra is a varietal that seems like it needs no introduction. Cloudwater were incredibly impressed with this crop selected in Yakima, so join us in revisiting this powerhouse hop.

• They paired together a bold and multifaceted new hop varietal, Sabro, with a reliable and well-loved stalwart of modern beers, Chinook, for an interesting blend of flavours and aromas. Classic grapefruit and pine aromas twin with herbaceous notes alongside citrus and coconut.
