Its Tap Takeover time again at the Hopfenreich and for the first event of the year, we are teaming up with two up and coming local Breweries.

With 5 beers flowing from our taps we are happy to bring you the taste of Berlin thanks to our friends at Feisty Goat Brewing and Unverhopft.

The beers:

Feisty Goat, EAST GOES WEST, White Ale:

The first beer from Feisty Goat, and what a way to announce themselves. East Goes West is named after brewer Filip's decision to move his life from east to west in search of a new 'adventure'. A beautiful take on a classic Belgian Wit. Light, sweet, with good carbonation and a spicy citrus aroma. Lovely dry finish.

Feisty Goat, LAKES AND MEADOWS, Pale Ale:

This beer was brewed for the 'cosy' side of Berlin. Designed primarily for chilling in the park, or beside a lake with friends, watching the sun go down. It's not summer yet, but we can imagine. Lakes and Meadows has a wonderful fruity aroma, balanced with herbal notes, a classic Pale Ale bitterness and a clean, dry finish.

Feisty Goat & Unverhopft, WHITE STOUT:

A White Stout you say? Seems a contradiction, and this beer is a tribute to this. Beer, like life, sometimes has it's twists.
Big coffee and chocolate aromas, yet with a light citrus note, complimented by Sichuan pepper. Believe us, it's a stout.

Unverhopft, HOPFUNGSVOLL, IPA:

It's IPA time, West Coast IPA. This beer is an explosion of the US hops we all love, matched with German bitterness provided by the classic Hallertau Magnum hop. A true tribute to the West Coast style - need we say more.

Unverhopft, DIE LETZTE HOPFUNG, DIPA:

This is a bitter beer, as it should be, to fit into the DIPA category. Also with a healthy helping of US hops, this beer is an attack on the tongue. Centennial, Columbus, Cluster and Saphir hops, perfect for the last beer of the night, or 2nd last.

So... Are you going to miss it?
