A group of kitchen alchemists, whose Wednesday night ritual consisted of manning the tuns in the Greenwood brewery (aka the kitchen in their flat), with bottles of Brooklyn Lager in hand, and re-runs of Seinfeld airing in the background, had a chance encounter with a German brewmaster in their local one evening which would change the course of Greenwood brewery for good. The dream of Steve Ryan and his roomates Andreas and Fredrik had long been humble, to brew enough of their own beer to fill their fridge for friends, family, and themselves. With brewmaster Ben on board they would go one step bigger.

40FT Brewery opened its doors on 1st May 2015 in a disused car park in Dalston, East London. The brew house and tap room are built in repurposed 40 foot shipping containers.
On April 28th we will have the pleasure of hosting the 40FT brewery in house for a special tap takeover and collab event. Expect five beers on tap and an oppurtunity to rub shoulders with the creative individuals behind the brewery.
